Immunology

Immunology is a field of study where we observe, detect and interpret the reaction of our body to external factors and its mechanism of action. Immunological tests mostly deal with the detection of antigen and antibodies present in the body respective to its corresponding pathogen and infection. Here we provide IgA and IgG tests. We focus on targeting pathogens relating to Dengue, Hepatitis-A (HAV M), Hepatitis-B (HBsAg), Hepatitis-C (aHCV) and HIV. We also do diagnosis tests for Infectious diseases, Cancer (CA125, CA199, CA153).

The department also offers Allergy testing using a fully automatic system (Phadia 250) which is optimised for accurate, efficient and reproducible processing of Specific IgE tests; an FDA approved technology which is currently perceived as “Gold Standard” for in-vitro IgE testing.
